Site Inspection
We schedule an in-person appointment on site in order to better evaluate the existing site conditions. A tour of the physical space is mandatory and preferably in person in order to evaluate certain physical criteria. A virtual tour is also welcomed. For sites outside New York or Tirana virtual tours are welcomed.
Client Brief
Is a set of short and easy questions we ask to better understand you and the problem you’re trying to solve. In there you answer, suggest, and share everything you want to address in inside the space of your dreams. It only takes a few minutes to fill the form and it’s fun, light, and very helpful.
Concept
Concept development is the place where initial ideas and inspirations are presented. We collect a set of material boards and case studies to further analyze, conceptually, the experience and atmosphere mood of the space.
Scheme
Zoning, or Schematic design as it’s often referenced in the industry, assigns different colors to each space. Every client will be able to visually understand their hierarchical importance and make informed design decisions.
Design
Design development is what is commonly represented in plans and rendered images of how your final space will look and function. Strongly rooted in the previous steps of concept and schematic design we develop and deliver a project that will enhance the user experience while simultaneously improve the quality of the built environment.

Documentation
Construction Documents are technical sheets that contractors need to specifically know the project in detail in order to produce cost estimates for their services and implement the design intent. It also includes schedules and quantities with all furniture and fixture information like cost, supplier, reps, and lead times.
Implementation
Is the final phase offered at Bonsai. Implementation means following the project through its entire construction phase, start to finish. Additional to site visits Bonsai offers in its Pro Package™ the opportunity to revise any construction documents or invoice as they typically do during construction. We instantly address and revise with our in-house team of experts any on-site implications that arise and make sure we deliver a product that fulfills in perfect harmony our design intent, as agreed with our clients.
Site Visits

No matter the physical location of the space we make sure to plan accordingly with our group of trusted partners in order to deliver our design within the timespan required for its completion.
Photoshoot
After everything’s finished and before we pop our champagne open there’s one more thing we want you to know. For every lovely place we make a photo shooting set it’s included in your Pro Package™, so you can thoughtfully advertise your retail or commercial space in style and elegance. Share beautiful and professional pictures of your newly designed apartment with family and friends, or even make online content and spark engagement with your community wherever they are, all around the world.
